Securing land with high biodiversity value, either through purchase or co-management agreements, and working closely with land managers and businesses wanting to create biodiversity impact. People For Wildlife’s largest partnership landscapes are located in southern Africa and Australia.
We acknowledge the rich cultural diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples who are the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we live, learn and work in Australia. We acknowledge the Angkamuthi, Atambaya and Gudang Yadheykenu Traditional Owners of Northern Cape York Group, on whose Country we conduct our work. We recognise the uniqueness of this region and the traditional custodianships that the Apudthama people have over their land and sea country. We humbly respect their history and pay homage to the elders past, present and emerging.
